    Description:

Someone has hacked past Brain’s firewalls and sold the MC’s information. Brain and Bash are on a mission to catch the hacker, find out who hired him, and then make him pay.

Until Brain discovers the hacker is a woman, and just as smart as him. She’s so clever, he chases her a full week before he finally catches her.

She’s the enemy, and yet his wolf wants to protect her from Bash. Worse, his wolf is beginning to decide he wants to claim her.

This isn’t going to be pretty.

    MB's INTERVIEW
    Thank you. Mrs.Candace Blevins

    1. Why do you think MC stories are so wanted these days?
It’s the antihero thing. We love our bad guys. And, this is also one of the reasons I wanted to write in the genre — the challenge of how bad I can make a guy and still make people root for him, still make us want him to get his HEA. I dipped my toes in the water with Duke and Brain, but Bash is turning into much more the antihero, and I’m enjoying the challenge.

    2. You added shapeshifters in the mix. What are the challenges for the story when such elements are put together?
From a logistics standpoint, werewolves don’t have tattoos because when they shift to wolf and back to human, everything heals. Finding hot bikers without tattoos for the covers has been a bit of a challenge.

There isn’t too much of a challenge when it comes to the writing, though. As I get farther into The Chattanooga Supernaturals series, I’ll be showing how the Pack wolves have to deal with an Alpha wolf who has total control over them, if he chooses to wield it. Highlighting the contrast between Pack and MC adds another layer to the worldbuilding, and Brain’s story reinforces the idea the President can’t dictate things as an Alpha can. Both Pack and MC have their good and bad points.

    3. MC stories offer a great possibility for the anti-heroes. How Brain is?
We see Brain as both good and bad guy, but he is certainly an antihero. He has his own moral code, and he puts his own ethics and scruples above the rules of society. The MC took him in when he’d turned his back on his family and society. He was alone, and now he has brothers. He’d do just about anything for them… but there are limits.

    4. Brain is the second volume of the Rolling Thunder MC Series – how such a series is born and developed?
I’m writing three series within the same Universe. All three are challenging me in different ways. I enjoy reading Urban Fantasy more than other genres, and I’m happy to finally be writing it. I’m also having fun giving the secondary characters from the UF their own happily ever after in my paranormal romance series. And, finally, I wanted an excuse to write antiheroes, and the werewolves who refused to give their oath and submit to the Alpha were born.

The three series are being written so readers can read one series or all three, their choice. For a list of the books, and the correct reading order if you wish to read more than one series, go here.

    5. More and more the paranormal romance (PR) becomes synonym with erotic romance. Where is the limit in your opinion, and are the real intimate scenes needed in PR?
Different readers want different things, and I think there’s a place for both closed door and erotic romance. I started out by writing BDSM romance, which leaves nothing to the imagination, so it seems natural for me to give most of the details while writing other genres, as well. I don’t believe the sex is gratuitous in my books, as what happens in bed is such a big part of my characters’ journey towards becoming an established couple.

Thanks so much for having me on the blog, I’ve enjoyed the questions! Readers can feel free to contact me via email or facebook ( candace@candaceblevins.com ) if they have more questions.

    About the author:
Candace Blevins is a southern girl who loves to travel the world. She lives with her husband of 17 years and their two daughters. When not working or driving kids all over the place, she can be found reading, writing, meditating, or swimming.

Candace writes BDSM Romance, Urban Fantasy, Paranormal Romance, and a smoking hot Motorcycle Club series.

Her Safeword series gives us characters who happen to have some extreme kinks. Relationships can be difficult enough without throwing power exchange into the mix, and her books show characters who care enough about each other to fight to make the relationship work. Each book in the Safeword series highlights a couple with a different BDSM issue to resolve. Books are standalone and can be read in any order, with the exception of the two Davenport books, and the four Matte books.

Her urban fantasy series, Only Human, gives us a world were weredragons, werewolves, werelions, three different species of vampires exist, as well as a variety of other mythological beings.

Candace’s two paranormal romance series, The Chattanooga Supernaturals and The Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Club, are both sister series to the Only Human series, and gives some secondary characters their happily ever after. Her three paranormal series are written so you can read one series, or all three, should you prefer only a particular genre.
